Strategic Cooperation: Egypt and U.S. Sign Agreement to Combat Methane Emissions

Karim Badawi, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources along with Herro Mustafa Garg and Sameh Aboul-Enein, Assistant Foreign Minister for US Affairs have witnessed the signing ceremony of a grant agreement given by the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) amounted to $ 959,006, in favor of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) to prepare a roadmap to reduce methane emissions in the Egyptian petroleum sector through the global consultant (Global S&P).
