The second annual Energy and Future of Investment in Egypt Conference is scheduled to take place in Cairo May 25. The conference will be held under the auspices of Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail and Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr.
Mohamed Shaker, according to a statement by the event organizers.
The conference may act as a helping hand to the Ministry of Energy that is aiming at diversifying its feed to include an influential percentage form renewable energy.
The conference panels will discuss the country’s strategy towards the energy mix to meet its development needs in the coming years, the challenges facing production and exporting energy in Egypt, the private sector role, and regulations required to organize exports.
