TAQA Arabia, an Egypt-based energy and utility provider, posted a 34% increase in consolidated revenue to EGP 15.46 billion in the first half (H1) of 2026, according to the company’s unaudited standalone and consolidated financial statements disclosed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The company’s consolidated gross profit rose 20% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 1.56 billion. It also recorded a 65% rise in net profit after tax to EGP 577.9 million in H1 of 2026.

Alongside the financial results, TAQA Arabia’s Board of Directors approved establishing a branch in Jordan, marking a step toward expanding the company’s regional presence. The board also authorized the executive management to take the necessary procedures to sell the treasury shares owned by the company, provided that the sale is completed within one year from the date the shares were purchased.

In June, TAQA Arabia signed an agreement with the military-affiliated National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) to acquire a stake in 172 fuel stations operated under the “Wataniya” brand.

The deal will take place by transferring ownership of the stations to a newly established company, Quick Fuel for Petroleum Products Trading and Distribution, in which TAQA Arabia will acquire a 10% stake, with an option to purchase an additional 15% once the company is listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

TAQA Arabia will also manage, operate, and develop the stations. Wataniya operates 296 fuel stations nationwide and holds a 7.3% share of Egypt’s fuel retail market.

Based in Cairo, TAQA Arabia operates through major core business divisions and subsidiaries spanning natural gas, power generation, petroleum marketing, water treatment, and renewable energy across Egypt and the MENA region.
