Under the patronage of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, Tanmia Petroleum Company signed a protocol of cooperation with the Mining Studies and Research Center (MSRC), affiliated with Cairo University’s Faculty of Engineering, to train engineers on the latest drilling and production techniques.

The center will also train engineers on making use of cutting-edge technologies to convert vehicles to run on natural gas. Additionally, mining cadres will learn the latest techniques adopted by international mining companies in mine drilling and development.

The agreement was signed by the Chairman and Managing Director of Tanmia Petroleum Mostafa Amin, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Hossam El Din Abdel Fattah, and the Managing Director of the Mining, Petroleum and Metallurgical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering Sayed El Tayeb.
