Stanel Oil has completed the Ultra-modern oil and gas service station facility in Awka, in Nigeria’s Anambra state, Petroleum Africa reported.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Governor of Anambra, Willie Obiano, visited the facility in celebration of its completion and complimented Stanel Oil’s Chairman, Stanley Uzochukwu, for his effort in bringing such a significant investment to the state.
During the visit, the Governor said that the gas facility is the first of its kind in the history of the state and pointed that the project would add great value to the state’s economy in particular and to the Nigerian economy in general.
The commissioning of the facility will start in few weeks. Many state governors, political and business heavyweights from across the country are expected to attend the opening event.
The facility is strategically located between the state-owned Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Anambra State Women Development Centre along Enugu – Onitsha expressway, Awka, Anambra State.
