The Sparrow Group announced is partnership with Saudi Zamil Group in press release published by Zawya, part of its expansion in the key Middle Eastern marketplace.

Sparrows is a leader in engineered products and services in such areas as lifting and handling, cable and pipe lay, and fluid power to the energy industry.

As for the Zamil Group Holding Company, it is a global investment company that operates its own port facility at Dammam, with a fleet of over 100 vessels.

Trade Arabia quoted Sparrow’s CEO Stewart Mitchell as saying that: “Saudi Arabia is a powerhouse in the region and we have focused a lot of resources in identifying the right partner to support us in entering the country.”

Sparrow already operates out of Abu Dhabi, UAE and Al Khor, Qatar and Dubai.
