Sources with the Egyptian ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy stated that  the minister, Mohamed Shaker, appointed Ayman Hamza as the new spokesperson of the ministry. The came after the current spokesperson, Mohamed Al Yamani, announced that his retirement, reported Al Borsa. Al Yamani will remain as acting spokesperson until the ministry issues an official appointment for Hamza.

Shaker met with several engineers before deciding on West Delta Electricity Production’s Engineer Ayman Hamza.
