SDX Energy said well location construction has been completed at the South Disouq well in Egypt.
The company is mobilizing the Sino-Tharwa six drilling rig to the location, with drilling expected to start at the SD-1X location in the next few weeks, Pipeline reported.

SDX Energy, which operates with a 55 % interest in the concession, agreed with partners on a location for drilling and exploration well following interpretation of 3D seismic data at South Disouq last November.
The company also has a working interest in two producing assets – 50% North West Gemsa and 50% Meseda, located onshore in the Eastern Desert adjacent to the Gulf of Suez.
