Saudi Arabia to Contribute $2.5B to Green Middle East Initiative

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman announced that the Kingdom will pump $2.5 billion over the next decade into providing the necessary solutions and more energy systems to support the Green Middle East Initiative.

This came during the opening of the summit in its second edition, in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh, which was launched under the co-chairmanship of Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, amid wide participation of senior leaders in the world.
