Saudi state oil company Aramco has told buyers it would supply all requested additional volumes in April, Asharq Al- Awsat has reported.

European oil refiners including Total, BP, Eni and SOCAR have all had allocations for additional Saudi crude oil supplies in April confirmed, the sources said.

This is part of a wider plan to try and increase supplies to traditional buyers of Urals as it is trying to replace Russian oil. Saudi Arabia has slashed oil prices to $25-28/barrel compared to that of Russian Urals $30/ barrel.

Brent crude was on track for its worst week on record since the 2008 world crisis as investors fretted over the impact of the virus on global demand.
