Saudi Crown Mohammed bin Salman and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa opened a new oil pipeline connecting facilities in the two countries on November 26, Reuters reported.

The oil pipeline is set to connect the Abqaiq oil processing facilities in Saudi Arabia with the Bahraini Bapco refinery. It currently has a flow of 220,000 barrels per day (b/d) and a transport capacity of 350,000 b/d.

The pipeline is a joint project between Saudi Aramco and the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco).
