Russia’s Gazprom Exports Decline by 8.4% YOY

Gazprom exported around 64.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas to countries outside the former Soviet Union from January to April 2019, Zawya reported.

Exports by the Russian giant declined by 8.4% in the first four months, compared to the same period last year.

Furthermore, the company’s natural gas output stood at 181 bcm, increasing by 2.1% year-on-year (YOY).

On the other hand, Russia is yet to take a final decision on the production cut agreement, led by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that it was too early to speak about preferable options.
