Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has declared that Egypt aims to export $8.5 to $10 billion worth of natural gas during the fiscal year 2022/23.
In an interview with Al-Arabia, El Molla elaborated that Egypt exported natural gas worth $6.5 billion last year.
The minister added that the government is working on electricity rationalization to increase the amount of natural gas exports. He noted that the decline in temperature during September and October will support this effort.
