The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources approved the following list of promotions within State-owned companies:

1. Alaa Al-Batal is now General Manager for Exploration at Qarun, promoted General Manager for Exploration at Petrosila.
2. Hamid Zahran is now General Manager for Exploration at Agiba, promoted from General Manager for Exploration at Qarun.
3. Shereen Ghazlan is now General Manager for Exploration at Khalda, his previous post was General Manager for Exploration at Agiba.
4. Fathi Youssef is now General Manager for Exploration at Petrobel, promoted from General Manager for Exploration at Gamasa.
5. Ali Khairy is now General Manager for Exploration at Bapetco, promoted from General Manager for Exploration at Norpetco.
6. Ismail Mohamed is now General Manager for Exploration at Petrosila, previously he was Undersecretary of Exploration Affairs at the Ministry of Petroleum.
7. Osama Al-Baghdadi is now Operations General Manager at PetroSinai, previously he was General Manager for Drilling Operations at EGPC.
