Egypt Oil & Gas hosted on Monday 7th of May a Production Optimization Roundtable—A premier event allowing leaders in the oil and gas industry to connect and collaborate on the issue of optimizing production. This event is part of a four-day convention and is unprecedented in its ability to bring together leaders both within the private as well as the public sector.
Notable discussion leaders include Abdullah Ghorab, former Minister of Petroleum; Tarek El-Molla, Chairman of EGPC; Abu Bakr Ibrahim, Chairman of Ganope; Arshad Sufi, President of BG Egypt; Mike Mason, Operations Manager for Apache; as well as many other prominent figures within both the Egyptian government and the international sector.
The topics discussed in the roundtable centered around the economic barriers that affect oil and gas production, contractual and commercial terms, using proper technology for optimization, efficient use of infrastructure, risk, reward and how companies can share them, in addition to the all-important role of people development and its impact.
