U.S. Oil Major Chevron said it was forced to shut down 20 thousand barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil production in Nigeria after confirming a breach to one of its pipelines.

“Chevron Nigeria Limited confirms that there was a breach on its Makaraba-Utonana pipeline in Delta State, Nigeria,” the company said.
