Petroleum Gas Company (Petrogas) secured 4.2 million tons of butane during fiscal year (FY) 2017/18, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

Company head Adel Al Shuaikh said that Petrogas also increased its butane storage capacity, raising it to 149,000 tons in the last fiscal year.

This was achieved after the company established new 11 storage warehouses in the Sohag butane filling factory and the Wadi Al Qamar Area near Alexandria.

The Petrogas chief made the announcement during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla to review the company’s results in FY 2017/18.
