OQ and KOGAS-Tech signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities of cooperation on hydrogen-related opportunities, Oman news agency reported.
The agreement was signed by OQ CEO Talal Hamid Al Oufi and KOGAS-Tech CEO Yong-Don at OQ headquarters.
This cooperation came as a part of OQ’s strategy to invest in alternative energy for its growth. In this regard, OQ is actively involved itself in close collaboration with world-class partners to explore potential opportunities in this evolving industry.
Commented on the agreement, Myungsoo Kim, Vice Mayor of Daejeon Metropolitan City said, “By strengthening cooperation with OQ, we hope to achieve our joint goal of establishing a green hydrogen economy. Daejeon Metropolitan City plans to maximize positive synergies by connecting Daejeon Metropolitan City’s advanced hydrogen research and developing capabilities and Oman’s strong position to produce green hydrogen.”
Addtionally, OQ CEO Talal Al Oufi said, “This MoU with KOGAS-Tech is a step towards expanding the knowledge, technological and research pool on green hydrogen and we are confident that this cooperation will lead to innovative solutions in this field.”
