During the Organization Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting (ONOMM), the members reaffirmed their decision to adjust the monthly oil production by 0.4 million barrels per day (mmbl/d) in February.

This decision was taken at its 10th ministerial meeting on 12th April 2020, due to the oversupply crisis caused by the pandemic.

The members also insisted on the importance of being committed to full conformity and to the compensation mechanism, taking advantage of the extension of the compensation period until the end of June 2022.

At the end of the meeting, the members agreed to hold the 25th ONOMM on 2 February 2022.
