Onera Systems, the Egyptian leading companies in the solar energy sector in the Middle East, has finalized the establishment of three solar power stations in the Abu Korkas and South Delta areas in Egypt, Petro-Mining reported.
The company’s Chairman, Wael El Nashar, told Al-Mal News that each of the solar power stations will operate with a capacity ranging between 10 and 30kW. He also added that the stations’ cost exceeded EGP 1m.
According to Onera Systems’ website, the renewable energy company has a variety of solar systems in their repertoire. Each solar system is apt to supply energy in varying situations and a specific landscape. El Nashar pointed out that the mentioned projects were created via the Photovoltaic cells system that converts solar energy into usable electricity.
He noted that the company has been allocated with several projects within the framework of an initiative called – Your Sun Egypt – and much effort will be put in developing projects that would increase the reliance on photovoltaic energy in Egypt.
