Osama Al Ghandour, the Secretary General of North Sinai Governorate, announced the allocation of EGP 6 million for financing natural gas and water delivery to citizens’ houses in Arish city, Al Shorouk reported.
He added that the governorate agreed with Sinai Gas company, which is a subsidiary of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), for connecting natural gas to the houses. He explained that 3,175 citizens benefited from the fund, which covers EGP 1,950 for each, after they pay a deposit of EGP 257 and monthly installment worth EGP130 for 15 months.
It is worth noting that the governorate established this fund to help incapable people to connect natural gas and water to their houses under the country’s plan to alleviate the burden on citizens.
