The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, has appointed a new undersecretary for the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in addition to issuing new appointments and transfers for heads and vice presidents in the holding companies and national oil companies (NOCs). The new movements aim to support petroleum sites with the needed cadres in order to exchange expertise and achieve the targeted future goals, according to a press release.

The new transfers included:

Magdy Mohamed Galal El Din Badr, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS), effective as of June 25.

Alaa Abd El Fattah Kassem El Batal, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope), effective as of June 18.

Ashraf Said Mohamed Kotb, Head of the Central Administration for the Financial, Commercial and Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, effective as of June 9.

Adel Ahmed El Sayed Mohamed Samaha, Vice President for Exploration and a member of the executive board at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), supervising EGPC’s agreements, effective as of June 18.

Samir Mohamed Abady, Vice President for Production and a member of the executive board for the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).

Yassin Mohamed Ahmed Yassin, Vice President for Operations and Networks, and a member of the Board of Directors at the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS), effective as of May 25.
