Nasr Petroleum Achieves 58% of Environmental Reform Plan

Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad made an inspection tour to follow on the implementation of the environmental reform plan of petroleum companies in the Gulf of Suez, where  Nasr Petroleum Company  achieved 58% of its plan, while Suez Oil Processing Company (SOPC) achieved 25%.

During her inspection tour, Fouad elaborated that Nasr Petroleum Company’s experimental first phase unite was operated to absorb 550 cubic meters of industrial wastewater per hour to be entered into the second phase of treatment with a total cost of about EGP 25 million.

Fouad added that the second phase’s implementation of industrial wastewater treatment project is being developed with a total cost of $22 million.
