MoPMR Highlights Progress in Developing, Upgrading Unified Government Complaints System

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) hasĀ affirmed its interest in upgrading and developing the services it provides to citizens, especially in the distribution of fuels, petroleum products and natural gas.

It highlighted the role of the unified government complaints system in the Cabinet as a communication channel forĀ citizens across Egypt.

MoPMR added that the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla continuously reviews the status of cooperation with the unified government complaints system, offering guidance to achieve the highest rate of responses to complaints.

The Ministry indicated that it achieved a significant progress in solving the problems and complaints during 2023. According to the data provided by the electronic portal of the unified government complaints system, the petroleum sector received 23,839 complaints and the Ministry has responded to 23,734, representing 99% of these complaints.

Also, it elaborated that there are 97 complaints that are being resolved and processed, confirming the immediate response to emergency reports through emergency and rapid intervention teams, with a total of 5,479 reports throughout the year.

The Ministry noted that citizens can submit complaints through the electronic portal of the unified government complaints system or through the related app which can be downloaded on mobile phones.
