Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza yesterday received Kuwaiti Oil Minister Dr Ali bin Saleh Al Omair who arrived to take part in MEOS 2015, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Dr Mirza will open the conference today at 4.30pm at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel and Spa.

The exhibition will be inaugurated tomorrow at 9am at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers in collaboration with a committee of regional and international oil company representatives, the forum features more than 300 high quality technical presentations, a series of panel sessions led by top executives of key players and expert keynote speakers.
