Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has highlighted the necessity of continuous work to develop oil and gas exploration by taking advantage of the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG), which is the first digital platform to attract investments in the field of research and exploration.

This came during the cabinet’s meeting on August 14th in the government district of the New Administrative Capital to discuss a number of important files and topics.

Madbouly encouraged expanding the offering of bid rounds in various exploration areas, emphasizing the importance of using more sophisticated financial technologies to attract more investors. 

He also urged that more electricity should be produced from renewable resources, indicating that this issue is a top priority.
