The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) has added 500,000 barrels of crude oil capacity to the Ras Lanuf port, Reuters reported.
This is highest capacity level the port has seen since 2016.
Harouge Oil Company, a subsidiary of NOC, has reportedly replaced a tank that has a capacity of 500,000 barrels.
Libya achieved a total of $14.3 billion in oil revenues during the first eight months of the year, as shown by the most recent data of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL).
Oil revenues accounted for around 92.66% of the total government income during the eight-month period from January to August 2019.
