KBR wins Adgas project

KBR announced it has been awarded a contract by Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Ltd. (ADGAS) to provide program management consultancy (PMC) for the Flare Handling & Emission Reduction (FHER) Project on Das Island, Abu Dhabi.

KBR will provide project management services for a flare handling and emissions reduction front-end engineering and design (FEED) project. The prime objective of the project is to assist ADGAS in reaching its goal of fulfilling its new zero flaring objectives.  The plant–which produces liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Paraffinic Naphtha and sulfur– currently flares an estimated 10-15 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of sweet and sour gas. Work on the project is expected to begin immediately. Services will be provided through KBR’s Leatherhead offices.
