The Iraqi Oil Minister, Jabar El Luaibi, clarified that Iraq does not see an immediate need for more production cuts, Zawya reports.

The comments follow comments reported earlier by Reuters, indicating that Iraq favored an additional 1% cut in production by OPEC and other non-OPEC oil producers.

Instead the minister stressed the importance of consensus in the development of OPEC policies, according to Zawya.
