Jordan announced that its Iraqi crude oil imports have resumed with 80,000 barrels being transported so far, Reuters reported.

Jordan had renewed an agreement with Iraq for another year to resume crude oil at a discounted price and under preferential terms. Under this deal, Iraq will export 10,000 barrels of its crude oil per day to Jordan, which equates 7% of the nation’s needs, according to a statement from Jordan’s energy ministry.
