Iraqi Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban has entered discussions with his Qatari counterpart Saad al-Kaabi for joint cooperation and potential investments in the fields of oil, gas, and electricity, Reuters reported.

Qatar Petroleum reportedly wants to participate in projects and investments to develop the oil and energy sector in Iraq.

Iraqi crude oil exports from southern ports reached 3.33 million barrels per day (b/d) in April, compared with around 3.37 million b/d in March.
