The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Managing Director, Seyyed Naser Sajjadi, said that the country’s Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) year-to-date exports are about 615,000 tons, with over 40m liters of mazut shipped daily to international markets. He cited Pakistan as the largest customer of Iranian LPG , MEHR News agency report.
Sajjadi said, “in view of increased gas supply, a surplus of oil products has been created inside the country.”
He pointed out the surge in exports of oil products citing a 433% increase from a year before, with a daily average of about 13.5m liters. Iraq, Kurdistan and Afghanistan are the major buyers of Iranian diesel oil, according to the Pakistan Defense.
