Iran’s Bidboland Persian Gulf Opens Gas Storage Facility, Wharf

Iran announced the opening of new facilities and storage tanks for export products and the independent wharf of Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refining Company, which were officially commissioned in the southwestern city of Mahshahr.

This came during an opening ceremony held in the presence of Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji, the CEO of the National Petrochemical Company Morteza Shahmirzaei, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company Mohsen Khojastehmehr, and the CEO of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) Abdolali Ali Asgari.

The announcement added that the Bidboland Persian Gulf independent storage facilities and reservoirs were built on an area of 64 hectares with investments of EUR 270 million.

Its annual export capacity is 2 million tons and it will export valuable products including propane, butane, and pentane plus.

Bidboland Persian Gulf Gas Refining Company is known to be the largest gas processing facility in the history of Iran’s oil industry, in addition to being the largest gas hub in West Asia in terms of production capacity.
