Iran Contains Oil Pipeline Fire

A fire broke out at an oil pipeline in Southwest Iran after an accident occurred on May 6, yet the fire was controlled successfully, Reuters reported citing Tasnim news agency.

The fire happened when a construction loader collided with a pipeline during an attempt to repair a section between the cities of Ahvaz and Omidiyeh.

As a result, the road between the two cities was closed and the pipeline was shut down.
