An official source with GUPCO told Egypt Oil & Gas that the company had completed the restoration of the J-15 marine production platform in the July field, Gulf of Suez.

Repairs covered the infrastructure, and the number 8 oil production line. Additionally, the 4.5 production line was converted to gas. These repairs in total lead to an increase in production rates estimated at around 900 b/d of gas.

The J-62 marine production platform was restored and rehabilitated as well, also in the July field, during November 2014. This task was completed by re-connecting the output lines from the platform to the J-10 main station on the seabed, leading to an increase in production rates estimated at around 3,000 b/d of oil.
