General Electric to Increase Investments in Egypt

General Electric (GE) plans to increase cooperation with the Egyptian electricity sector, especially in renewable energy projects and wind farms in particular, as well as developing transportation and distribution grids, said Joseph Anis, CEO for the Middle East & Africa Region at GE Power Service, Akhbar El Yom reported.

Anis led the company’s delegation visiting Egypt to meet with governmental officials.

This comes as the Egyptian electricity sector has made great success in the past years, which attracted global firms to boost their investments and seek to increase cooperation with the Egyptian government.
