The daily Russian Kommersant reported that Gazprom might be in the process of creating a new gas company out of already three existing firms.
Gazprom would be controlling 51% of the company, and the rest would be divided between Russian businessman Farkhad Akhmedov and independent gas producer Itera.
The newspaper added that the company’s annual gas production would be the same as Russia’s Novatek, and would be established on the basis of Sibneftegaz, Purgaz and Nortgaz companies.
