Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea inaugurated the 18th edition of Egypt’s international plastics exhibition PLASTEX, the ministry said in a statement.
The exhibition is the largest domestic and regional event for business owners interested in the petrochemical and industries, Gamea said.
PLASTEX exhibition will be running for four days and it is set to attract over 22,000 visitors.
The 18th edition of PLASTEX has a total of 340 participating companies, including 270 foreign firms and 70 local manufacturers and exporters.
The companies contributing in the exhibition come from nine different countries, including China, India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Vietnam, Turkey, Germany, and Qatar.
