Ministry of Petroleum Consoles Families of Kahraman’s Victims

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt has extended its condolences to families of four oil workers who passed away at the site of onshore Kahraman oilfields, located at the Western Desert and operated by Khalada Petroleum Company. Al-Ahram reported on September 10.

The accident occurred when a vehicle carrying the oil workers hit an oil rig at the drilling site, leaving four dead and two others injured. The victims were admitted to Marsa Matrouh hospital.

For its part, the ministry of petroleum said it is closely following up the consequences of the incident and will take measures to hold alleged perpetrators accountable.
