The Egypt Oil & Gas (EOG) Technical Committee has presented to HE Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the outcome of the brownfield white paper, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
This came in attendance of Abed Ezz El Regal, CEO of Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC); Ashraf Farag, First Undersecretary for Agreements and Exploration of the Ministry of Petroleum; Osama Mobarez, Undersecretary of the Minister’s Technical Office; Mohamed Radwan, Deputy Head for Production at EGPC; Alaa El Batal, Deputy Head for Agreements and Exploration at EGPC; Thomas Maher, President and COO at Apex and Chairman of the Technical Committee; Mohamed Fouad, Managing Director at EOG and Co-Chairman of the Technical Committee; Sameh Sabry, Senior VP and Managing Director at Wintershall Dea; Karim Badawy, Managing Director – Egypt and East Mediterranean at Schlumberger; and Mahmoud Shawkat, Oil and Gas Consultant.
The white paper was presented by the technical committee addressing the different strategies in attracting further developments in Egypt’s mature fields.
