The Ministry of Electricity has pumped investments of around EGP 1.4 billion in three governorates, El-Beheira, Matrouh, and El-Menoufia, between H2 2017 and June 2019, Al Mal reported.

Around 3,698 kilometers of low voltage networks were rehabilitated, and 41,590 low voltage power lines were replaced, according to Hamdy Salem Okasha, the President of Al Buhaira Electricity Company.

Meanwhile, 225 transformers have been replaced, and 132 new transformers were added to the grid in cities and villages with high consumption rates.
