Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has highlighted the importance of the development carried out in many petroleum products distribution companies.

He said that this development allows these companies to provide excellent services to the Egyptian market, invest their capabilities in supporting their share in the market, and increase their exporting interest, especially to Africa.

The minister’s remarks came during heading the general assemblies of the companies of Misr Petroleum and Cooperation Petroleum (Copetrol) to approve their budget plan for the fiscal year (FY) 2023/24.

El Molla also stressed that distribution companies should continue to provide distinguished services to supply fuel to ships and airplanes. He noted that the development and upgrading of these companies would increase their competitiveness and performance flexibility. 

During the general assembly of Copetrol, the minister praised its developmental efforts and its expansion in the exporting markets as well as in the new cities. 

While in the general assembly of Misr Petroleum, El Molla praised its utilization of all its own capacities, hailing the integrated services it provides in the field of aviation fuels, stressing on the necessity to keep developing its equipment.
