El Molla Heads Egyptian Delegation to OAPEC Meeting

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, headed an Egyptian delegation attending the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OAPEC) 101st meeting of the Council of Ministers, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The meeting was held in Kuwait on December 23, and was chaired by Suhail Al-Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy.

The meeting has had great importance in boosting the cooperation between Arab countries in the petroleum and gas industry in order to achieve joint interests, El Molla stated.

The minister added that the meeting has been an opportunity for  sharing views of global oil markets’ developments and global oil prices.

El Molla had bilateral talks with Arab petroleum ministers and discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation between Egypt and Arab countries in the oil and gas industry.

The ministers decided the next meeting to take place in Kuwait on December 22, 2019.
