The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, visited Port Said Governorate to inspect the work progress at Zohr field as a part of following up the new gas development project, Al Ahram informed.
After the visit, El Molla stated that the project is in full swing in both drilling development wells and constructing marine equipment, as well as in processing land station, which will be used to receive and treat the gas extracted from Zohr.
Additionally, the minister headed the eighth meeting of the Higher Committee to follow up the progress of the project’s work.
The meeting counted with the presence of the First Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Petroleum, Mohammed Moanis and Ashraf Farag; EGAS’ Chairman, Osama Al-Baqli; EGPC’s CEO, Abid Ezz El Regal; Petrobel’s CEO, Petroject’s Chairman, Salah Ismail; Enppi’s CEO, Mohamed Hathout; PMS’ CEO, El-Sayed El Badawy; and ENI’s Regional Director, Adriano Mongini.
