Egypt’s Consumption of Petroleum Products Decreases by 4.4% Y.o.Y

Consumption of petroleum products declined by 4.4% Year-on-Year (Y.o.Y), from 3 million tons in November 2016 to 2.877 million tons in November 2017, according to a report by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

Egypt’s output of petroleum products remains slightly the same, recording 2.713 million tons in November, compared to 2.716 million tons in November 2016, CAPMAS report further stated.

Consumption has been changing a lot in 2017. In October, it stood at 2.969 million tons. The preceding month, Egypt consumed 3.256 million tons of petroleum products.

Output has been remaining close as it recorded 2.818 million tons in October, increasing from 2.751 in September.
