A press release to Egypt Oil&Gas stated, The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, said that Egypt’s natural gas production is going to increase during the current year due to the ongoing developments of the gas fields, especially in the Mediterranean, the Nile Delta and the Western Desert.
In line with the national vision of securing energy supplies and meeting oil and gas demand for all sectors, El Molla noted that the Ministry is aiming to increase the country’s production of natural gas rates gradually.
This came during the Ministry’s meeting at The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company ( EGAS) to discuss the company’s budget for the fiscal year 2017/2018 in the presence of the First Undersecretaries of the Ministry, the Chairman of General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Chairman of Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), the Chairman of Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company and the Ministry’s Undersecretary at The Accountability State Authority.
