These agreements aim to form a strategic alliance and commercial cooperation, each in its field of expertise and specialization.

The agreements also aim at cooperation across the Middle East and Africa to develop engineering, procurement and construction projects in the fields of oil, gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure and industry in general.

Prior to the signing of the agreements at IKTVA Forum and Exhibition in Saudi Arabia, Badawi held a meeting with Sheikh Tariq Al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani Group.

This meeting comes as a continuation of talks that took place during the past months. The two sides stressed the importance of cooperation in the field of mining, especially since it is witnessing great development in Egypt. This is in addition to cooperation with Egyptian sector companies in the field of energy, discussing ways to increase investment and open new markets in the African continent.
