Egypt Records $13B in Petroleum Exports in Nine Months 

Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait has announced that Egypt achieved petroleum exports worth $13 billion with a surplus of $4 billion during the first nine months of the fiscal year (FY) 2021/22, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.

This remarkable announcement was made during a press conference he held to discuss Egypt’s current economic situation.

The minister noted that the Suez Canal achieved high revenues reaching $7 billion during the FY 2021/22 which reflects the benefits of investments in it.
