Egypt and Germany signed a joint document to boost economic partnership between the two countries in the fields of trade policies, industry, energy, investment, transportation, environment, tourism and infrastructure, Ahram Gate reported.
The document was signed by Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar, and German Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy Thomas Bareiß.
The document further enhances cooperation in the field of low carbon emission through boosting cooperation in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The two officials signed the document during the 5th meeting of the joint economic committee, which was attended by Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, and Minister of Investments and International Cooperation, Sahar Nasr.
