Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with the Belgian Minister of Energy, Timne Van der Straeten, on the sidelines of COP 28 discussing the available investment opportunities in Egypt.

The two officials discussed several topics of mutual concern and the efforts of Egypt and Belgium in the field of energy such as hydrogen production and emissions reduction.

For his part, El Molla emphasized the importance of investment opportunities in this regard, highlighting Egypt’s infrastructure and facilities, which is the main element for the success of energy projects with all the European partners.
